Some people rekon the internet is great for loads of things but in truth it really cannot be beaten for catching up with people that you had lost contact with or are quite literally on the other side of the world! In the case of Charlie from New Zealand and his bike ‘the wasp’ it’s exactly the scenario here one hundred percent!

Its great to touch base with bikes and owners that you have worked with years ago, even better when they take the time to drop you a line and a few shots, so thanks very much Charlie as your message and shots are really appreciated, its great to know that ‘the wasp’ is still kicking and going strong!

Message: Do you remember building the Wasp back in the very early days I think Dean took it round Europe to Spain. Anyway i got it from you in the early 1990s and its still going strong over hear in New Zealand. I have had it rebuilt from the frame up but its just as it was and the engine is still great. A testament to your old school building from the early days and one classy Ironhead Sporty.
