Following the mega success of Rollerburn last November, the top fellas at Sideburn mag bring you DIRT QUAKE - "an evening of dirt track motorcycle mayhem." Saturday 19th May, Brandon Speedway Stadium, Coventry. 

It will be held at Coventry Speedway in the UK and features UK flat track racing, stunt riding, run what you bring flat track, vintage speedway, live band and DJs and Europe's first chopper speedway race and looks like it truly will be going off the hook!!!!!

Gale force wind, none stop rain, ice cold temperatures, hailstones the size of fists, what has happened to the blazing sunshine that we only had a couple of weeks agothen?...... Well our good friend Mark from the http://www.battistinistattoos.com/  sent us this picture and just said, ‘with love from Northern California today’ 

Well the best bit is that Mark works in the Battistinis tattoo studio in store so he is as far away from this amazzzing surf as us, however if it does not stop raining soon we think that the road outside may start looking the same!!!! Until that point may we suggest that you get out of the cold and wet and pop in for a tattoo, a coffee or to talk about all things custom!!! Simple!

Battistinis, the day of digital......

To some the cassette, Walkman and VHS may been seen as cutting edge, however like the soda stream and dial up Internet they are now a mete blip in the past!

As the history books are being wrote all of these things will be next to cd's! With that the case roll on one of the worlds most boring tasks of transferring all of the years worth of blood , sweat and tears into one little black box called a hard-drive! Just hope that we do not die of boredom In doing so!!!!!

Some things are good and others are just that much better! This is seriously impressive!

“Inspired by a childhood spent on the beaches of Cornwall building castles, boats and tunnels in the sand, I decided to return to my favourite beach at Caerhays on the south coast of Cornwall to produce a stool using a primitive form of sand-casting. Molten pewter was poured into a sand mould sculpted directly into the beach by hand, and once cooled the sand was dug away to reveal a pewter stool.”

We thought that the latest investment og a GoPro Hero2 made some cracking little videos. Oh how very wrong were we when we came across this absolutely beauty!

New York-based production company ‘Variabl’ traveled to India and pointed a Phantom Flex high speed camera at the Holi festival celebrations.

The world is fascinating. People and cultures inspire us. Sadly, the fast paced lifestyles of our generation result in many not taking the necessary step back to soak in the existing world around us. Our goal with this film is to help viewers further appreciate and take notice of the beauty in life & culture that lies within our world…

The colorful powders thrown around are stunning when captured at 2,500 frames per second.
