We thought that the latest investment og a GoPro Hero2 made some cracking little videos. Oh how very wrong were we when we came across this absolutely beauty!

New York-based production company ‘Variabl’ traveled to India and pointed a Phantom Flex high speed camera at the Holi festival celebrations.

The world is fascinating. People and cultures inspire us. Sadly, the fast paced lifestyles of our generation result in many not taking the necessary step back to soak in the existing world around us. Our goal with this film is to help viewers further appreciate and take notice of the beauty in life & culture that lies within our world…

…so the next time you notice something that strikes you as interesting, stop for a second, start powering on your camera, think about why it’s unique, and snap the shot before you miss it. Life is extraordinary. Embrace it. 

The colorful powders thrown around are stunning when captured at 2,500 frames per second.

Each to their own we guess, however if we made snowboards this is what we would want to produce. No bells, no whistles, no glow in the dark paint, no blah, blah, blah. In truth if you don’t get what is going on here you have obviously never visited an alpine bar in the white season. Now all we wish for is a range of skateboards, surfboards and even bikes to follow suit and all would be good, very good infact!

There's no place like home. It's where we live, work and dream. It's our sanctuary and our refuge. We can love them or hate them. It can be just for the night or for the rest of our lives. But whoever we may be, we all have a place we call home.

Allan Hill has what seems to be a sort of sad optimism. Through circumstances that aren’t really ever explained, he lives (legally mind you) in one of the last inhabitable buildings of the original Packard plant. His space appears to be a the home of a reckless junk collector. His face has a grief-stricken slant to it. His clothes are torn and dirty. His words are down and out. But somehow, he still seems optimistic in this strange sort of way.

So after two weeks with no updates chief twit’er Anthony is back from riding his push bike to the ‘edge of the world’ Cape Finisterre, Spain www.thewayride.com and thus now the blog and twitter updates return! Some pointless, some good and some hopefully just a bit better!
