The Cyril Huze blog is without question ‘The World’s number one source for custom motorcycle news’ and with this the case we were more than stoked to see that Cyril was spreading the word for us about our Open Weekend party last month!
A huge thanks goes out to Cyril not only for promoting the success of the event but also for keeping us all informed of the ‘moving and shaking’ within the custom industry!

In truth no matter how big or small your lawn is unless you have a ‘sit on and ride’ mower it’s a dam chore keeping the grass at a height that does not resemble a mass rainforest!
Well we all thought that was the case until the good old internet made us stumble across this absolute beauty and re-think our thoughts straight away! Now not only is the gardening not looking like a chore but nor is a re-planed weekend to haul our sorry asses around as many car boots as we can with our new found inspiration for the next project!

Battistinis, 2010 open weekend party support . . . . .
Its already been a whole month since we put the new shop on the map with the opening party of the new store and in truth we are still recovering, but hey, no-one ever said that if the party was so good the hangover would be easy!
The weekend obviously has now passed but as we are still hearing the good words spoke about the party all we can say is thanks, thanks and thanks again to everyone who attended the event and also to everyone who is still spreading the word since it!
It really is much appreciated. Go to the great Inter Bike website if you don’t want to take our word for it:
Battistinis, Exile Cycles Open House/Breakfast/Rides . . . . .
For all of our USA friends out there make sure that you head down towards the Exile Open House / Breakfast / Ride this Sunday on July 25th (9am-12pm) for a few donuts and coffee’s!
Then you are also welcomed to join Russ and his gang on an easy 18 mile ride up Highway 101 to the legendary biker hangout, ‘the Rockstore’ on Mulholland Highway on Cornell. CA in the beautiful Santa MonicaMountains.
Talking of Exile read on about the ALL NEW Exile ‘SuperMoto StreetBob’!
This is the first of the Exile Dyna 'make-overs' of which Exile started with a super-low mileage 2006 Streetbob to work their magic on.
It features a 34" Exile inverted front end and 15" Works Performance shocks to give it that dual-sport stance, but it could, of course be supplied with shorter suspension for the under 6' brigade. Exile 2" belt kit, reverse shotgun pipes, air-cleaner and FatBars are among the Exile custom parts.
The super-clean rear end is acheived using the Exile Sprocket Brake kit which mounts directly in-board of the swingarm and is almost invisible! An Exile 4-piston caliper provides front end stopping power (the wheels and gastank are from a 2010 FXD).
It sports an Urban Assault headlight, a Radiantz half-moon tail-light and mini turnsignals. The Hidden Switch Bar is concealed in the left grip. ISR hand controls, a LePera Silhouette seat (it also has a two-up version) and Avon Distanzia tires all add to the distinctive style.
If you are interested in a similar face-lift for your Dyna, or you'd like to buy one of Exiles then give us a call, “Battistinis, Europe’s premier supplier of Exile bikes and trikes” on +44(0)1202 437400

Battistinis, Riding my motorcycle across the USA. . . . .
So there we were sitting at the computer thinking that it would be nice to go out for a quick spin tonight as the weather looks nice, when crash bang wallop the email inbox chimes and we think that the little ride we had planned was not really that special after all. That is when we compare it to what our good friend Gary is currently undertaking, a whopper of a4 month, 15,000 mile road trip across the states on his Harley. In his own words please read the email below that Gary sent our way and make sure to hit up his blog every day as it’s a great daily read of the trip that leaves us all wishing that we were also on the bike rather than in the office chair!
Hi to all,
I thought I would give you an update of what I am doing.
As some of the recipients of this e-mail will know, I am currently doing a 4 month, 15,000 mile motorcycle ride across the USA on my Harley-Davidson. I have now completed 3,000 miles through the states of New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Maine, Rhode Island, Connecticut and Vermont. I also went into Canada for a short period. Right now I am the Adirondacks, a beautiful area in northern New YorkState. I have seen some fantastic sights already and I am sure there will be many more to come. I have experienced scorching temperatures over the past few weeks – at times it has been like riding with 20 hairdryers blowing in your face!
Shipping my motorcycle to the USA was very simple and I am really glad I did this. There is nothing quite like riding your own bike on a trip like this.
I am doing this journey in order to fulfil a long-held ambition, which is to make up for the fact that I never did anything like this when I was younger. I left school early, dived straight into work and I missed out on many of the experiences that many young people enjoy. I didn’t go on exotic school trips, I didn’t go to university and experience the lifestyle that goes with that and I didn’t ever do anything like take a year out travelling. What I have done is to work hard and often wonder what an “adventure” must be like. This trip across the USA is at last setting that wondering aside as I experience adventure for myself. There is a map at the bottom of this e-mail that shows where I have been and where I am going and as you will see, it takes in a great deal of the USA.
I am writing about my trip in a blog because I want to record where I go, what I see and who I meet. In years to come, I want to be able to look back at what I did and I will try to keep the blog updated every day, but no promises! If you want to occasionally take a look at where I am or what I have been doing here is a link to my blog.... http://garysusatour.blogspot.com/
There is of course one person that I really would like to thank for making this trip possible and that is my wife, Jackie. I am very lucky that Jackie understands and supports my need to fulfil my ambition.
Best wishes,
Gary France

The internet truly is a weird one. Every day that passes we really do rely on it more and more in terms of business, fun and everything that happens in our lives! What is even weirder than ever before is that we meet more and more people out there and get to know them simply by bashing a few plastic keys on a keyboard!
When a person called Michael from Denmark contacted us thru this very blog we were at first a bit “what is this person going on about!” However once we saw a few snaps of his very own ‘Great Sticker Wall’ we knew exactly what he was on about! Michael loves bikes and also loves plastering the walls of his workshop with the graphics of those brands which he respects and follows!
With this the case on our next ‘Battistinis’ vinyl re-print some are defo heading towards Dutch waters for Michael’s great wall, or should that be walls! By the looks of what brands are already present its hard to think of ho is missing but if you have a brand and want to shoot some stickers his way get in touch with us and we will of course fire his details to you to do so!
