Battistinis, Chris King espresso tamper. . . . .

Battistinis, Chris King espresso tamper. . . . .

Well this Christmas if anyone is struggling to find what to buy someone who both loves a coffee as much as cycling then this truly is the winning ticket!

Any die hard cyclist out there will know that the world’s finest hubs and headsets come from the world famous USA ‘Chris King’! For winter 2010 they have decided to ‘twist’ things a little further and produce the ultimate in coffee perfection!

Chris DiStefano, marketing manager at Chris King, said:

"Our espresso tamper is born from an appreciation of the coffee making process as much as the coffee it produces. We worked in collaboration with the Portland, Oregon based American Barista & Coffee School to develop a professional grade espresso tamper with precise dimensions, exceptional feel, and the iconic shape that every cyclist recognizes as the very best."

The tamper was developed with Tom Pikaart, the Barista Manager and Wholesale Trainer for Water Avenue Coffee, as well as a lead instructor at the American Barista & Coffee School. Pikaart is an avid cyclist and blogs about his "coffee explorations" at PouredOver.com.

The tampers are not cheep but then again like all Chris King Products are simply the best that money can buy. They cost $75.00 a piece and are direct from Chris King: www.chrisking.com/store/tampers
